The MAICh Dept. of Sustainable Agriculture coordinates Interreg Europe Digital Rural, working together with representatives of 11 institutions in 8 countries (Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, the Netherlands, Poland and Slovenia).

The 4-year project aims to bridge the increasing digital divide between rural and urban areas through consultations with local businesses, community groups, residents and local and regional governance, to identify and address deficiencies in digital service provision, infrastructure, and specific training. Digital Rural will also identify the most effective digitization policies implemented in other partner countries for local adoption or adaptation.
