The Dept of Sustainable Agriculture coordinates the Erasmus+ project NBCaRD – NATURALLY BUILDING Capacity in Rural Development, with partners the Greek social cooperative COB, experts in Natural Building (NB); and the Serbian NGO Blatology, civil engineers and architects.

The project will use training in NB skills to drive sustainable rural development - in Greece by training NB proponents to meet the increasing demand for bioclimatic buildings, and in Serbia to provide the skills to maintain and improve ancient earthen homes in the Pcinja region.

In June 2023 the first training will take place in Larissa.
