The garden of peace

After visiting Tifylia - Messinia, the secretariat of the association The Garde of Peace in collaboration with CIHEAM (the International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies), will travel to Crete to the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania: CIHEAM IAMC, for the implementation of a garden of peace in this institution.
The garden will be inaugurated on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of CIHEAM. Also in this case, the Association will send 21 varieties of olive trees originating from 21 olive-growing countries also from the Olive Germplasm Bank of Cordoba (Spain).
This will be the first garden of peace realized in the headquarters of an international organization and for this the Association would like to thank the Executive Secretariat of CIHEAM and the Director of the Institute of Chania as well as all those who have collaborated and believed in the project.
