METROFOOD-RI is a distributed-Research Infrastructure for promoting Metrology in Food and Nutrition, which will provide high level metrology services for enhancing food quality & safety and supporting the traceability and sustainability of the agri-food systems, in a view of circular economy. METROFOOD-RI combines a physical and an electronic infrastructure strictly interconnected, including numerous facilities distributed in 18 European Countries that can provide scientific services in an integrated and collaborative way. METROFOOD-RI is one of the six projects selected by ESFRI for the strategic potential and impact for strengthening European research, included in the ESFRI Roadmap 2018. The Consortium involves 48 Institutes (20 Beneficiaries and 28 Linked Third Parties) from 18 European Countries (15 Member States and 5 Associated Countries).
