As the academic year 2021-2022 comes to an end, students of CIHEAM-MAICh enjoyed the beauties of Crete through a sea cruise. The trip started from the old Venetian port of Chania with M/S IRINI, a former classic British yacht built in 1930 and rebuilt as a cruise ship in 2002.
The destination was the two small islands of the gulf of Chania, Agioi Theodoroi island, which is a protected area and home for kri-kri, an elegant Cretan goat which is an endangered species and the Lazaretta island, where students had the chance to admire the natural beauty and swim.
