Students and researchers from all over the world come to Chania to expand their own boundaries as well as those of academia.
The Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania greatly values strong links between research and education. Students are involved in current research, and the wide range of Master’s degree programmes gives them the opportunity to develop their research skills.
The Master of Science programme is developed over two academic years on a full time basis [120 credits, following the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS)].
The object of this programme is to promote the acquisition of advanced knowledge and to deepen the student’s knowledge, critical understanding, applied skills, capacity to analyse and evaluate as well as to implement advanced research in specific areas of Mediterranean agriculture, food systems, environment, rural development and other related sciences.
